A few words about
our founder and company
The Founder, The Father, The Hip-Hop Head
By day, Jerome is a Senior Dev-Ops / Systems Engineer at a major European enterprise. His job is to build and manage complex, mission-critical infrastructure. It's a world of precision, security, and high stakes.
After work, he's a father of four. A role that requires a different kind of precision, security, and even higher stakes.
And in the slivers of time in between, he was chasing a passion that had been with him since his teenage years: hip-hop culture.
Not just the music—though he's been a fan since the '90s—but the entire ecosystem. The artists, the stories, the community, the culture. Jerome wanted to create a platform that celebrated Dutch hip-hop and gave it the coverage it deserved.
So he launched HouHetZout.nl, a Dutch-language news site dedicated to hip-hop, urban culture, and everything in between. The vision was clear. The execution? That was the problem.
The Problem: Passion Meets Reality
"I was spending every free minute I had manually creating content. Finding news, rewriting articles, translating them, creating social media posts, publishing to WordPress... it was a soul-crushing amount of manual work. I was spending 20 hours a week to produce maybe 10-15 articles. It wasn't scalable. I was heading straight for burnout, and my dream of building a media business was slipping away."
He knew there had to be a better way. His engineering brain kicked in. The systems he built at his day job were all about automation, efficiency, and scale. Why couldn't the same principles apply to content?
The question became: What if I could build a machine to run my newsroom for me?
The Solution: Building the Machine
Jerome didn't just want to automate one part of the process. He wanted to automate everything. He envisioned a single, unified system—a true AI content automation platform—that could handle the entire workflow from end to end.
Using his expertise in system architecture and API integration, he started building. He connected:
He called it Pulseroom.
It wasn't just a tool; it was a fully automated, end-to-end newsroom. A machine built to solve his own impossible problem.
The Proof: Real Results, Zero Manual Work
With the Pulseroom engine running, Jerome pointed it at HouHetZout.nl. The results were staggering.
He went from 20 hours a week of manual labor to simply tapping "Approve" on his phone a few times a day. He had successfully built a machine that ran his media business for him.
That's when he realized the truth: the system he built to save his own dream was the actual product. The real business wasn't the hip-hop news site; it was the engine that powered it.
Pulseroom.io was born.
Our Mission: Give Creators Their Time Back
We believe that content creation shouldn't be a choice between scale and sanity. You shouldn't have to hire an army of writers or work 80-hour weeks to build a successful media brand.
Our mission is to give creators, media companies, and agencies the power of a full-scale newsroom, without the overhead.
We do this by providing a powerful AI content automation platform that handles:
We built Pulseroom to solve an impossible problem for ourselves. Now, we're sharing it with the world.
